Tuesday and Thursday evening Sessions (Club Training) – 1830 hours

The sessions currently meet each evening on Kellie Pearl Way, Ellon, outside the Ellon Community campus.  Both sessions are one hour in duration (approximately) and we run through a cycle of different training programmes over the weeks.  Sessions are open to runners of all abilities, and everyone is made welcome.

The club training sessions, depending on coach availability and attendance, aim to split into the following groups:

Orange – Those who take over 60 mins for a 10k / over 30 mins for a 5k

Blue – Those who take 45-60 mins for a 10k / 24-30 mins for a 5k

White – Those who are under 45 mins for a 10k / Under 24 mins for a 5k

Training sessions in the evenings alternate each Tuesday and Thursday with either a long run (between 8 and 12k) or intervals, swapping round each week.

Additional Sessions – Thursday lunchtime and late evening

We also currently have additional training sessions as follows:

Thursday lunchtimes at 1200 hours, meeting at the Car Park on the south side of the Waterside bridge (closest side to Newburgh) as you leave Newburgh towards Cruden Bay.

The group are happy to welcome anyone along even if they need to leave earlier due to work or personal commitments.  This group is growing by the week and has a wide variety of abilities, all willing to support one another.

Thursday evenings at 1930 hours, meeting at Kellie Pearl Way, Ellon, outside the Ellon Community campus.  This is a group long run “longer than 10km (no more than 12k)” in 60 mins.
