Thursday Interval Sessions (Club Training) - 7.00 pm

Thursday interval sessions are held at the Ellon Academy campus at 7 pm.  This is a 1 hour session (approximately) and we run through a cycle of different training programmes over the weeks.  Visit our Club Calendar to check the programme for the coming week.  Although we'd like you to attend every week, the variety of sessions allows runners to pick and choose training that suits their preference or whatever event they are training for.

Tuesday Tens - 6.30 pm

New from December 2018!

With the success of Thursday night's sessions now having swelling attendances, we have recognised the demand for an additional evening for a 10k run each week.

The initial weeks will be restricted to the floodlit streets of Ellon starting at 6.30 pm from the Academy Complex.

Once the lighter nights are upon us we will venture out to some of the neighbouring villages and take in some new scenery.

This is an initial plan that will be flexible and altered according to feedback or outstanding suggestions.

Ideally we will look at some way of easily marking out a route (probably chalk arrows on the pavement) so everyone can run at their own pace or if they decide run along with others.

Route maps and directions are listed below.  Each route can be printed if you are not familiar with it.  It will be the responsibility of those attending to be confident of the intended route and how they should go about following it.

Each route will be repeated a total of 4 times over the course of the club year but varied each time.  First time will be a social run, second an interval run, third a tempo run and on the fourth occasion a handicap race.

Visit the Club Calendar to check which route is planned for the coming week.

Tuesday Ten's will be classed as a training session and as such will be subject to the same conditions, you can attend up to a total of 3 club training sessions, in whatever combination (10k, intervals or social runs) for free before being asked to join the club.
